Returns & withdrawal

Every print is produced and framed specifically for your order. For this reason returns are governed by the rules below, which distinguish made-to-order goods from cases of damage or defect.

1. Made-to-order products

The prints are made to order and personalised (chosen subject, format and finish, produced and framed for the specific order). They are therefore custom goods.

2. Right of withdrawal excluded

Pursuant to art. 59, para. 1, lett. c) of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalised. Consequently, orders for Animals in Black prints are not subject to the ordinary 14-day withdrawal.

3. Damaged, defective or incorrect items

You are of course protected if something goes wrong. You are entitled to a free replacement or a full refund if the print arrives:

• damaged in transit;
• defective (printing or framing faults);
• incorrect (item, format or finish different from the order).

4. How to make a claim

Write to AiB via the contact page or at hello@animalsinblack.it within 14 days of delivery, quoting the order number and attaching photos of the product and of the packaging. You will be sent instructions; where a return is required, the item must be sent back intact in its original packaging.

5. Return costs and refunds

In cases of damage, defect or error, return shipping is covered by AiB. Once the item has been received and checked, the refund is issued via the original payment method (Stripe), normally within 14 days.

6. Legal guarantee

These provisions are without prejudice to the legal guarantee of conformity of 24 months provided for consumers by arts. 128 ff. of the Consumer Code.
